Ivy Halter Top Polka Dot
Every generation has had a halter neck moment. In the 1930's the style rose to fame after designers and makers created evening wear inspired by Asian clothing (picture the traditional Chinese silk high neck cheongsam dresses). Halterneck formal dresses became popular then the style was use in swimsuits in the 40's which were popularised by the Hollywood celebrities of the time. In the 60's we were ditching our bra for a more revelaing halter neck style then in the 90's it made a return.
The Ivy Halter Neck Top offers an exaggerated collar, shirred back and adjustable extended tie to bow at the back. It also features 3 antique inspired buttons, a shirred and full zipper allowing to adjust to bust size and a long tie to add a little drama.
Wacker Clothing Company has used organic remnant linen fabric sourced from the deadstock fabric markets of Ho Chi Minh City. This limited edition print can not be repeated.
Made from 100% recycled cotton.
